The mission of the NSPA is to support its members and advance the profession of physiotherapy in order to improve the health and wellness of Nova Scotians.
Physiotherapy is recognized as an essential healthcare profession that fosters evidence-informed, client-centered, collaborative care and leads in the promotion, improvement, and maintenance of the mobility, physical fitness, health, and wellbeing of Nova Scotians.
As a provincial branch of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA), the Nova Scotia Physiotherapy Association (NSPA) serves as the voice and advocate for physiotherapists, physiotherapy assistants, and PT/PTA students all across Nova Scotia. We are a dynamic healthcare professional organization with over 600 members.
