This course uses real cases to help physios diagnose and treat conditions of the neck with greater effectiveness and efficiency. I strive to use evidence-based practice. This is an interactive course as opposed to didactic lectures. Your clinical reasoning skills will be enhanced.
Treatment will include how to educate your patients, exercises for strength, mobility, and motor control, and manual therapy/hands on techniques. The e-manual includes 39 links to videos of the manual therapy assessment and treatment techniques as well as exercises.
Cases will be used to cover the following conditions with emphasis on not only treating the symptoms but determining the cause:
- Hypo mobilities
- Hyper mobilities
- Mechanical neck pain
- Cervicogenic headaches
- Muscle imbalances
- Altered neurodynamics
