Elevate Dry Needling Level I: Foundations instructs technical proficiency in clinical dry needling principles. Emphasis is placed on safe application of using needles in practice, as well as in-depth discussion on the clinical reasoning and methodology behind what makes dry needling such a powerful tool.
Anatomy, safety, precautions/contraindications, and the skilled application of dry needling, including with the use of electrical stimulation are taught in our 2-day intensive course. Clinical application and up-to-date research are weaved throughout the course. This course covers multiple areas of the body, including upper and lower peripheral extremities as well as spinal needling of the cervical and lumbar vertebral zones (Thoracic spine covered in Level II: Advanced).
Elevate Dry Needling Lead instructors have extensive experience teaching dry needling across North America, both in Foundations and Advanced courses. We strive to not only educate students on simply inserting needles, but most importantly empower them with the skills behind why to needle and how to determine where to needle using clinical reasoning and a neuro-muscular assessment framework.
Above all we prioritize safety and clinical effectiveness and strive for the highest possible teaching quality in our courses.
Aside from learning techniques, instructors also provide ample practice time as well as common clinically relevant practical scenarios so you will be ready to use this skill professionally and adeptly immediately after completing this course.
