Bedford-Sackville Physiotherapy Clinic is seeking a dedicated and passionate physiotherapist to join our team full time.
We are a busy, locally owned clinic that has been providing care to the community of Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia for 40 years. Situated 25 minutes from downtown Halifax, Bedford-Sackville Physiotherapy is close to all the amenities of the city with the small town feel of Lower Sackville.
Work alongside experienced physiotherapists, massage therapists, an occupational therapist and an on-site owner in a caring, fun and dynamic environment for both our clients and our team members. The caseload is a mix of private orthopedic and military clients and motor vehicle accident injuries. Assessments are scheduled for an hour and 30 minute bookings for subsequent visits to ensure the excellent, individualized care our clients have come to appreciate from us.
Responsibilities
Your role will include, but is not limited to, assessment and treatment of clients, mentoring junior staff members and students, return to work/activity planning, quality assurance and program development that promotes functional restoration and client independence, and maintaining accurate documentation. An ability to relate to clients and a passion for life long learning are important.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will be a physiotherapist eligible for registration with the Nova Scotia Regulator of Physiotherapy. Certification to practice acupuncture/dry needling, familiarity with/interest in the McKenzie Method and advanced manual skills are assets but new or pending graduates are very welcome to apply. This position is available immediately, however there is flexibility for a later start date.
