The ACCEL Health and Sport Performance Centre is a well-established, locally owned clinic with three locations in metro. Team members are amongst the leaders in sports and orthopedic physiotherapy in Nova Scotia.
We are currently looking to add to our team of accomplished, multi-disciplinary professionals at our Halifax location. The applicant will work alongside experienced Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, and Massage therapists. Other adjunct services include Osteopathy, Occupational Therapy, Pedorthics, Bracing, a Registered Dietitian and Mental Performance Consultant.
The Centre works with several sports teams and organizations to provide both clinical and on-field care. The caseload will therefore involve working with highly active individuals as well as those with a variety of orthopedic injuries including work and motor vehicle accident injuries.
Applicant success will be rated on:
- post-graduate working experience
- the ability to provide acupuncture (TCM or FDN)
- an interest in completing Sport Physiotherapy Canada’s credentialling levels
- an interest in obtaining CPA’s Orthopedic Division post-graduate levels
- experience and post-graduate training working with concussions
- the ability to work a varied schedule with a combination of both morning and evening shifts
- an eagerness to learn from mentoring opportunities and an educational allowance
- the ability and desire to work collaboratively in a team environment.
