Living with chronic pain can feel overwhelming, but clients don't have to face it alone. Our *Chronic Pain Self-Management Program* is designed to empower you with knowledge, tools and support to help you gain better control of your pain and improve your quality of life.

Scotia Physiotherapy in conjunction with Kristen Bailey, PhD, Registered Psychologist have developed a unique four module education program to help you manage your pain.

What client's Gain:

-Module 1: Pain 101 - you will gain knowledge about how pain happens and different types of pain to help you make informed decisions about your care

-Module 2: The Mind Body Connection - you will learn about how to approach movement and activities to help manage pain and live well

-Module 3: The Mind Body Connection - you will learn about how our thoughts, beliefs, emotions and memories interact with pain and you will be introduced to some strategies to shift  those interactions from negative to neutral

-Module 4: Check in and Further Resources - this module is an opportunity to check in with the facilitators and get some help troubleshooting the use of new strategies.  You will also learn about putting together your own tailored healthcare team.
