We are seeking a Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist to join our team at The Pelvic Health Clinic in Dartmouth, NS.

We are seeking a skilled pelvic floor physiotherapist who shares our commitment to clinical excellence and delivering affirming, effective treatments that prioritize the well-being and goals of our clients. What We are Looking For:

  • Motivated, punctual and highly dedicated to your caseloads and career as a physiotherapist.
  • 2 years + experience managing a caseload in a private clinic setting.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting with friendly, non-competitive therapists and provide quality care.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and previous knowledge and experience providing trauma-informed, inclusive care.
  • Special interest in specialized areas of pelvic physiotherapy such as chronic pain rehabilitation, pre/postnatal populations, post-surgical rehabilitation, and pelvic organ prolapse management
  • Certifications in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy and willingness to continually advance your skills as a pelvic health physiotherapist. 
  • In good standing with College of Physiotherapists in Nova Scotia.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, i.e. substantial walking, standing, lifting, twisting and bending.
  • Holding personal professional liability insurance up to $5,000,000.00 per claim.
  • Must possess a clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check prior to commencing employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat pelvic health conditions such as incontinence, prolapse, pelvic pain, and pre/postnatal conditions.
  • Provide personalized treatment plans for patients, combining hands-on therapy, education, and corrective exercises.
  • Maintain detailed client records and progress reports in compliance with regulatory standards (HIPAA).
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, including mentorship, staff training and continuing education.
  • Contribute to our team environment with positivity and enthusiasm.
