One to One Wellness is seeking a Physiotherapist to join our integrated healthcare team. Located in the heart of downtown at 1535 Dresden Row in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We are a locally owned and operated clinic, with a focus on collaborative patient care. We offer a competitive compensation package, including health and dental coverage, and vacation.

Using a patient centered approached inspired by pain science, therapeutic relationship, manual therapy, and behaviour change, One to One Wellness delivers high quality patient care to thousands of Nova Scotians experiencing pain and/or complex health issues. We offer a unique approach, which consists of one-on-one physiotherapy in private treatment rooms utilizing manual therapy, education, collaboration, mobility, and strength training to help individuals manage their pain, enhance their mobility, and improve their quality of life.

Physiotherapists within the clinic work as part of an interdisciplinary health team that consists of experienced physiotherapists, psychologist, manual osteopathic practitioner, and massage therapist. The wellness team meets regularly for support and to collaborate on patient care. Our clinic offers one-on-one treatments in private treatment rooms, and a fitness facility accessible to physiotherapists to use with their patients. Physiotherapists see 1- 2 patients per hour and our patient population ranges from acute injury, chronic pain, chronic condition support, traumatic brain injuries, motor vehicle accidents, and strength-based preventive and rehabilitative exercise.  We do not see Workers Compensation patients.

The ideal candidate is a practicing physiotherapist, licenced to work in Nova Scotia, with a minimum of 3-5 years of related experience. Excellent communication and relationship building skills are essential. Previous experience working within an integrated healthcare team is an asset. Experience treating patients requiring chronic pain management, concussion management, chronic health condition is considered an asset.

Initial hours of work will begin as part-time (on average 16-24 hours per week) with the expectation to build a caseload to full time hours (40 hours per week). Hours and schedules can be flexible, based on operational and patient needs.
