Active Approach Health & Wellness Centre (Halifax) is a multi-disciplinary, integrative health clinic with an emphasis on diagnosis, treatment, and patient education that has created long-standing relationships with their patients over the past 17 years. We offer patients a variety of therapeutic options to help patients achieve a healthy and active lifestyle. Sports injuries, chronic pain, headaches, and low back/neck pain are a few of the common conditions we diagnose and treat. Our therapeutic approach is proactive and tailored to each and every patient’s specific needs. Our teams of healthcare providers employ various hands-on techniques and therapeutic treatment options to ultimately help patients achieve their health goals quickly and with minimized risk of recurrence.

We have a unique opportunity for a Lead Physiotherapist to join their Halifax clinical team. This physiotherapist will be able to join our busy clinic with all the supports and resources needed to thrive in their career, all while establishing a great work-life balance. Within this practice, the groundwork is laid out for you to be successful, with direct referrals from the established chiropractors and massage therapists working alongside you.

The successful candidate will need to possess a drive and passion for delivering evidence-informed, patient-centered care, as well as have the clinical acuity to provide accurate clinical impressions, treatment, and education for patients confidently and effectively. Excellent communication and organizational skills are necessary, with the ability to demonstrate superior leadership skills amongst colleagues and administrative employees. The physiotherapist is expected to maintain a high level of stands for every patient engagement.

The clinical environment is integrative in nature working with our chiropractors and massage therapists to provide co-management and therapeutic diversity. Professional development will be provided on an ongoing basis to include continuing education in clinical assessment, manual therapy techniques, communication, and practice management.  This physiotherapist role was previously at an 80% established full-time caseload and we have a waitlist of patients eager to have physiotherapy services return to the clinic.

• A highly competitive commission-based structure of 60% of gross billings with a guarenteed base salary

• A continuing education allowance ($1000+ annual, based on experience)
• One-on-one mentorship on clinical cases, practice development training

Full Administrative Support

Our administrative processes and systems ensure the clinical processes are effective and ensure patient booking efficiency. Our administrative team is dedicated to delivering an optimized patient experience and providing exceptional patient services to ensure they are valued and cared for.

Marketing

Our clinic will have full marketing support with social media, online search engine presence, as well as support with community engagement events.
