Position: 

The Acadia Sports Therapy Clinic is looking for a part-time physiotherapist for evening shifts 2:00 – 7:00 pm, starting at 8-10 hours/week.

Salary:

Competitive percentage split based on a fee-for-service model; education fund, vacation pay.

Hours:

2:00 – 7:00 pm, Monday & Wednesdays. Starting at 8-10 hours/week. There is some flexibility to these hours.

We are a locally owned and operated business serving Wolfville and the surrounding Annapolis Valley. 

Acadia Sports Therapy Clinic prides itself on our high quality, one-on-one, patient-centered approach. Located in the heart of Wolfville, we work with individuals across the lifespan including children at the local elementary and high schools, staff and students of Acadia Univerisity, local and student-athletes, as well as adult community members. Our experienced team is dedicated to providing current and research-based care.

Responsibilities:

Provide safe, quality, and patient-centered physiotherapy care
Assess musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory and neurological function
Implement research-based, individualized physiotherapy care for patients
Administer and collect outcome measurement information
Communicate effectively with referral sources and team members
Complete documentation in accordance with the professional standards
Engage in continuous learning and professional development
Promote optimal mobility, physical activity and overall health and wellness
Participate in community engagement opportunities

Requirements:

Strong desire to pursue ongoing learning and work in a clinic environment with high standards of patient care
Graduate of a recognized university physiotherapy degree program
Registered and in good standing with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists
Current First Aid and CPR training
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position
Strong communication skills
Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
Must have clean Vulnerable Sector and Criminal Record Check
