Physiotherapists can be found in communities across Nova Scotia, small and large. Physiotherapy can be accessed through hospital outpatient services, or through private physiotherapy clinics. A physician’s referral is not required to see a physiotherapist (however some insurance companies require a physician referral in order to reimburse for physiotherapy treatment – check with your physiotherapist or your insurance company to be sure).
Members of the Nova Scotia Physiotherapy Association have clinics based in communities across the province. You are welcome to contact any of these clinics to book an appointment with a physiotherapist (by default, the listing is ordered alphabetically by community. Use the search box or the filters to refine the list.):
