Reporting to Manager Organizational Health and Safety, the Advisor:    

• Develops and implements injury prevention programs and services;
• Provides disability management for occupational injuries and facilitates an response to identified safety hazards;
• Acts as an resource to the Occupational Health and Safety Committees and supports further development of a safety culture;
• Develops and implements program to support Northwood in maintaining a healthy and safe workplace i.e. body mechanics, weight watchers
• Works as part of the Organizational Health Team.

LifeMark's New Glasgow clinic has an immediate opening for a Full Time Physiotherapist. This clinic is a full service rehabilitation clinic that treats private, WCB and MVA patients. Completion of a Bachelor/Masters of Science in Physiotherapy, registration with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists and malpractice insurance is required. PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Perform clinical assessments, set goals and provide treatment plans for clients
• Initiate appropriate treatment intervention based on clinical assessment
• Provide on- going evaluation of client progress
• Meet and/or exceed productivity standards
• Administer and collect outcome measurement information
• Supervise students and support staff
• Participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives
• Communicate to appropriate referral sources and stakeholders
