Nova Physiotherapy has two immediate openings for Full-time Physiotherapists.
Nova Physiotherapy has two established physiotherapy clinics in HRM. We are proud to be the only rehabilitation clinic servicing the Beechville, Lakeside, and Timberlea region (located next to Pharmasave & the Timberlea Medical Clinic) and are pleased to be partnered with Nubody's to provide services in the Burnside Industrial Park.
Between our two locations, Nova Physiotherapy's staff consists of 3 Physiotherapists, 8 Registered Massage Therapists, as well as 4 Administrative support staff. Our clientele is growing and to help accommodate the busy atmosphere we are looking for two new permanent full-time Physiotherapists, one at each location. Nova Physiotherapy is an approved WCB (Tier I & II) and MVA provider.
We are offering our full-time Physiotherapists an appealing compensation package, educational allowance and medical benefits. Full-time hours include both morning and evening times, Monday to Friday.

Start Date: Late September or October 2010 Position: • Full time, one-year term with a good potential for a permanent full-time position at the end of the term Salary and Benefits: • Salary commensurate with experience and post-graduate education • Benefits include • $1000. signing bonus • $1000. educational allowance • Paid vacation and holidays • NS College license renewal paid Hours: 40 hours/wk., days and early evenings, Monday to Friday Qualifications: • Autumn 2010 (potential) graduates are welcome to apply • BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy, or diploma in Physiotherapy • Eligible for or currently has licence with the NS College of Physiotherapists • Currently holds personal malpractice insurance • Ability to accurately assess patients’ physical abilities and disabilities; administer evaluative tests; plan physiotherapy treatment programs; select appropriate treatment modalities, manual therapy techniques and exercise programs; write detailed clinical reports; and communicate with colleges and other health professionals • Membership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association is preferred • Experience or interest in orthopaedics & sports rehabilitation is an asset. Having E2V2 or Level 2 manual therapy, and Sport Physiotherapy Canada’s sport certification or diploma is also considered an asset.
