Physiotherapy Information for the Media
The Nova Scotia Physiotherapy Association welcomes inquiries from the media, and can assist in finding physiotherapists who can speak to specific issues or areas of practice.
To receive assistance on locating a spokesperson, please contact info@physiotherapyns.ca
NSPA also participates regularly in proactive media releases, providing timely information on health issues of importance to Canadians. Most offer practical tips to promote health and safety with links to specific monthly themes (for example, Heart & Stroke, Breast Cancer) or seasons (e.g., snow shoveling tips).
Please note: in May 2009 the Nova Scotia Branch of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (NSCPA) incorporated as the Nova Scotia Physiotherapy Association (NSPA). In materials dated prior to May 2009 the previous name and logo will appear. However, they refer to the same organization.
