Celebrate a Colleague with the NSPA Award of Excellence
Date: Tue, January 17, 2012
Every year, NSPA recognizes a member who has gone above and beyond in the service of their profession and/or their Association. Do you know someone who deserves to be celebrated? If yes, why not nominate him or her for the NSPA Award of Excellence!
The NSPA Award of Excellence (formerly the Silver Award) is given annually to a Nova Scotia Physiotherapist who:
• is a member in good standing in the NSPA
• has demonstrated outstanding contributions in one or more of the following areas:
o administration
o clinical practice
o education
o professional contribution
o research
In 2011, the nomination process for the Award of Excellence was streamlined and simplified. It only takes a few moments to nominate a colleague!
The award is presented at the AGM, and includes a certificate noting the member's contribution; a souvenir gift of Nova Scotia; and complimentary NSPA membership (provincial portion) for the following membership year.
The nomination package can be downloaded here.
Deadline for nominations is March 1, 2012.
