The Pain Science Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association will be holding an Unconference about managing persistent pain through communication, coaching, and therapeutic alliance on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at McGill University in Montreal, QC. However, if you are unable to attend the Unconference in person, we also have the option to view it via video conference onsite at the Surrey Neuroplasticity Clinic in Surrey, BC.

You may be wondering, “What is an ‘Unconference’?” An Unconference is an event run by the participants, rather than just having delegates as passive listeners. Attendees can submit topics or challenges, set the agenda, and create an environment of productive conversation with discussion leaders, thereby providing moderation and structure.

Our keynote speakers this year are Dr. Jason Silvernail and Dr. Maxi Miciak.

We look forward to seeing you and having lively discussions together at the Unconference this year, whether it’s in person in Montreal or via video conference in Surrey! Please tag us on Facebook and Twitter when you share content of the conference with @PainPhysiosCan and #PSDunconference2019!

Physiotherapists can be found all across Nova Scotia.
