The Level III Upper Quadrant "pulls it all together”. Advanced assessment techniques are taught to tackle the more difficult patient scenarios. Higher-level treatment approaches integrate the articular, neuromeningeal and myofascial components. This course will focus on treatment techniques. In this 8 week format, there will be considerable independent work, accessing online lectures and completing readings, which will be part of the material you will be responsible for on the exam. You will be provided access to the site prior to the course
Due to COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, the delivery of the course will be as above. 8 weeks of mixed online synchronous and asynchronous learning. Practical sessions will be limited to five in-person days. COVID-19 health and safety guidelines have been implemented and will be modified given changing public health recommendations as required. Specific location to be determined given number of participants.
Participants are required to complete a self-screen 24 hours prior to each day of in-person learning. upon arrival, participants must have their own non-medical mask and hand sanitizer. If participants do not have their own mask or sanitizer, they purchase either from the course coordinator for an additional fee.
Participants must bring a change of clothes to wear while in the instruction space and change out of when leaving the building.
