PROTx Services in Elmsdale has an immediate opening for the right candidate.  Initial position is part time and will require evenings and Saturdays.  We provide a very busy clinic environment with competitive remuneration and potential for performance bonuses.  If you are a strong team player with a client service focus and looking to earn full time equivalant wages in a part-time position this opportunity is for you.

Providing safe, quality, and client-centred physiotherapy
Performing clinical assessments and implementing treatment plans for clients
Providing ongoing evaluation of client progress
Administering and collecting outcome measurement information
Participating in quality improvement initiatives
Communicating to appropriate referral sources and stakeholders
Engaging in continuous learning and skills development
Promoting optimal mobility, physical activity and overall health and wellness
Educating and planning maintenance and support programs to prevent re-occurrence, re-injury or functional decline
Completing required administrative duties related to client files including maintaining record/notes of each client interaction
Participating in community engagement events

Other Requirements:

Registered in good standing with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists
3 + years experience is considered an asset, preferably within a private clinic setting 
Current Standard First Aid & CPR training
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, i.e. substantial walking, standing, lifting, twisting and bending
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
Good judgement and problem-solving skills
Willingness to work evenings and Saturdays
A professional customer service attitude 
Able to handle confidential information in an ethical and professional manner
Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
Must have clean Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Checks
