We are a privately owned multidisciplinary clinic providing client focused treatment for a wide range of conditions ranging from orthopedic and sports injuries to motor vehicle accidents, work related injuries, LTD and private care. Our aim is to provide the highest level of care to our patients in a relaxed, professional atmosphere.
We currently have a full time position for a motivated physiotherapist with a passion for making a difference. The successful candidate will be someone who can work as part of a team, as well as have a drive to achieve above average standards. The successful candidate will be required to work evening shifts.
Responsibilities:
Assessment and diagnosis of musculoskeletal injuries.
Planning and implementing treatment programs.
Maintaining up to date documentation for all patients in a professional and confidential manner in accordance with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists and Park West Physiotherapy standards.
Qualifications:
Registered and in good standing with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists.
Member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
A minimum of level 2 manual manipulative therapy training and working towards advanced diploma is an asset.
Current First Aid and CPR or Medical First Responder.
Experience in working sideline as medical support for team events is an asset.
Acupuncture certification (Dry needling an asset).
Experience with WCB tier 1 reporting and current motor vehicle protocol standards.
